诗篇 49:16 见人发财家室增荣的时候，你不要惧怕

如果不包括皇帝，清朝的首富你知道是谁吗？那麽明朝、宋朝还有唐朝呢？我也不知道。

你能说出当今世上最富有的人吗？我打赌你可以，因为我也可以。现在和过往一样，财富令人畏惧。当我们看到一个人身家暴涨，会因为他的财富对他感到畏惧。

但我们不应因别人富有而畏惧他们；如诗篇所记，见人发财家室增荣的时候，你不要惧怕。因为无论你的财富多少，你的生命终会结束。时间有别于金钱：人人在世的日子都屈指可数。因为罪的缘故，我们都注定难逃一死。

惟有耶稣基督的宝血可以作永生的代赎。见人发财家室增荣的时候，你不要惧怕；不要惧怕钱财不足，并因此祸患会降临到你身上。请谨记，藉著对基督的信，“上帝必救赎我的灵魂，脱离阴间的权柄，因衪必收纳我。” （诗篇 49:15）

当你看到富人的新闻有什麽感受？你羡慕他们吗？

金钱是一个很大的诱惑。但耶稣告诉我们要把财宝积聚在天上，不是在地上（太 6:19-21）。今天你如何能把财宝积聚在天上呢？

祷告：天父，藉金钱来救自己实在是太吸引了。当我看到别人富裕舒适时，我会希望自己有更多金钱而不用担心。求祢使我看见地上的财宝皆会朽坏，我的生命必会终结，金钱不能救我，惟有祢爱子耶稣基督才能够拯救我。阿门。

Psalm 49:16 Do not be overawed when others grow rich

Besides the emperor, do you know who the richest man in the Qing Dynasty was? What about the Ming? The Song or Tang? Me neither.

Can you name some of the richest men in the world today? I bet you can. I know I can. Now, as always, riches awe. We see a man grow rich and we are awed by his wealth.
But wealth should not awe us, nor as the Psalm says should we fear when we see men grow rich. For no matter how much wealth you have, your life doesn’t last forever. Time is not money: each man’s days are already numbered. Because of sin we are all doomed to death.

Only one thing is payment enough for eternal life, and that is the blood of Jesus Christ. When you see the riches of other men, do not fear; do not fear that you don’t have enough money, that disaster might overtake you because of your lack of wealth. Remember that because of your faith in Christ, “God has redeemed your life from the grave; he will surely take you to himself.” (Ps. 49:15)

How do you feel when you see news of rich people? Do you envy them?

Money is a great temptation. But Jesus tells us to store up treasures in heaven, not on earth (Mt. 6:19-21). How can you store up treasures in heaven today?

Prayer: Heavenly Father, it is so tempting to rely on money to save me. When I see that others are rich and comfortable, sometimes I wish I had more wealth that I might never worry. Help me to see that all wealth fades, that my life itself will not last and money cannot save me. Only your son Jesus Christ can save me. Amen.
