主啊，我的神。
你说过：“我必不撇下你，也不丢弃你。(约书亚记 1:5)”。
然而，我此刻感到孤独。你曾向我应许过，无论什么，都不能叫我与你的爱隔绝；这爱是在主基督耶稣里的(罗马书 8:38-39)。然而，我的主，我的心却被一种沉沉的孤独感所笼罩。
主啊，我该去找谁呢？我相信并确信你有活水般的话语。请加强我的信心，并从你的存在中给予我更多的安慰。
主啊，在我的孤独中赐给我恩典，让我在灵魂中寻找其原因。如果我因为拒绝为他人服务而感到孤独，请原谅我因自己的自私而造成了孤独。如果我因对你和福音的忠诚而感到孤独，请帮助我在承受十字架的过程中感到喜乐。
请让我远离一切诱惑，使我在孤独时不要忘记你的守望，以免我落入罪恶和羞耻。请引导我的心思意念注视着天堂的方向，带我进入众信徒的团契，使用我为他人带来喜乐和祝福。
你教我祷告：我的心哪，你为何忧闷？为何在我里面烦躁？应当仰望神，因我还要称赞他，他是我脸上的光荣，是我的神。(诗篇42:11)
For the Lonely
O Lord, my God, You have said: “I will never fail you nor forsake you.” Yet I feel alone. You have assured me that nothing can separate me
from Your love in Christ Jesus, my Lord. And yet my heart is distressed by a deadening sense of loneliness.
Lord, to whom shall I go? I believe and am sure that You have the words of eternal life. Strengthen me in my faith, and grant me a greater measure of comfort from Your presence.
Lord, give me the grace in my loneliness to search my soul for its cause. If I am lonely because I have refused to give myself in service to others, forgive me for contributing to my loneliness by my own selfishness. If I am lonely because of loyalty to You and Your Gospel, help me to rejoice in my crossbearing.
Keep me from all temptations to forget Your watchful presence when I am alone, lest I fall into sin and shame. Direct my thoughts heavenward, bring me into the fellowship of other believers, and use me as a means of bringing joy and blessing to others.
Teach me to pray: “Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise Him, my help and my God.” Amen.
